H aughey Electrical provided all the electrical services to The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat project for main contractor, Hugh J O’Boyle. The scope of works for this luxury project included the complete refit of the reception, lounge/dining areas, kitchen, function rooms and bedrooms along with a new outdoor spa extension and the new beer garden. The electrical package included the installation of intelligent, energy- saving lighting and heating controls.
The project was carried out during the first Covid-19 lockdown, which presented unprecedented challenges for the Co. Antrim firm along with the rest of the industry. Commenting on the completed project, Eddie Haughey, Director at Haughey Electrical said, “Despite the unexpected delays caused by the Covid-19 lockdown and the ensuing materials and labour supply issues, we delivered the project on time and to the highest quality.”

The beautiful ‘hand scraped, smoked Oak’ from Kahrs (shown in the image), was selected to blend in with the decor of this high-end boutique hotel restoration and extension job.
