DAU Flagship Event of Summer 2025 Mark your calendars now for the DAU Flagship Event of Summer 2025 on June 4 at the DAU Fort Belvoir, Va., main campus. The theme for 2025 is “Driving Change–The Exponential Curve.” Technology transitions happen fast. Cars made horses obsolete as a mode of transportation in less than 30 years. Futurists can only predict how quickly AI will make certain human activities obsolete. The Defense Acquisition Workforce must be in the driver’s seat to impact the change that is needed to maintain a competitive edge. Using AI to Rapidly Improve Acquisition Outcomes DAU Communications

Updated DoD Supply Chain Risk Management Taxonomy Published Shawn Harrison

In January 202 5 , the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment published the DoD Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Taxonomy Version 2.0 and memorandum, as a follow-on to its initial version published in 2023. Since its initial release, the SCRM Taxonomy has been widely adopted and incorporated into information systems, databases, programs, and procedures to enable a common dialogue for sharing, assessing, and categorizing supply chain risk information. Risk Management: How Supply Chain Managers Can Save Time Robert Gordon American Military University Faculty
