A New Beginning: Turning Passion for Care into a Career

For Julie, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) was more than just earning a certification—it was a life-changing moment for her and her family. As a mom of two and a lifelong family caregiver, she had always wanted to turn her passion for helping others into a profession. However, the path wasn’t easy. Balancing school, family responsibilities, and financial challenges required resilience and determination. Despite these struggles, Julie pushed forward, leaning on the support of her instructors and classmates. When graduation day arrived, her entire family was there, arms full of flowers and balloons to celebrate her success. They watched, beaming with pride, as

she received her certificate. It was an accomplishment not just for Julie but for her whole family—a symbol of hard work and hope for a brighter future. Now, with her CNA certification and a new job in hospice care, Julie is excited to continue caring for others, providing comfort and compassion to patients and their families. Her journey at CGTI reflects strength and determination, rising above challenges to pursue their dreams and create better opportunities for themselves and their families.
