With more than two decades of service to the fresh produce industry, Western Growers Financial Services (WGFS) continues to build on its tradition of excellence in managing client and corporate assets, and in providing flexible, cost-effective retirement savings plans that meet the unique needs of agriculture. All total, WGFS manages nearly $400 million in assets. After a seamless transition to a new Third Party Administrator (Northwest Plan Services) and custodian (Charles Schwab) in 2020, our Western Growers Retirement Security Plan added three new employer groups in 2021, bringing the total to 34 employers, 1,100 participants and more than $115 million in assets.
