Goal 1. Improve our understanding of the species diversity of North Carolina and enhance our ability to make conservation management decisions for all species. • Work cooperatively with and provide technical guidance to local governments and communities to implement the Green Growth Toolbox • Review and provide comments on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing and relicensing projects and imple- ment provisions of FERC settlement agreements Disseminate information to selected audiences through appropri- ate media • Provide updates and share information for all topics through the internet and other electronic sharing portals Increase efciency and efectiveness of statutes, rules, regula- tions and review processes afecting priority species (rules and regulations) Improve coordination with local and regional land-use planning eforts and regulatory agencies (coordination, technical guidance)
