Cooperative Upland habitat Restoration and Enhancement (CURE) http://www.ncwildlife.org/CURE/CUREDecliningHabitatDecliningWildlife.aspx CURE addresses the ecosystem of species requiring brushy, grassy, and weedy landscapes of early-successional habitats.

Help sustain North Carolina’s wildlife and habitats by learning more about them. It’s as easy as signing up for classes or workshops, visiting one of our education centers or check- ing out our videos and publications. Tere are four Wildlife Education Centers location regionally across the state: Pisgah (Mountains), Centennial Campus (Raleigh), John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center (Fayetteville), and the Outer Banks (Corolla). Each education center ofers a variety of programs year-round that are geared toward K–12 and adults.

Te Research & Collections Section comprises a diverse scientifc staf located in three facilities: the main Museum, the Nature Research Center, and the Research Laboratory. Collectively, the R&C staf curates the Research Collections (with >3 million specimens), conducts original academic research projects, actively participates in public education and outreach, and assists in Museum exhibit design. MNS researchers have expertise in a large variety of scientifc disciplines, and conduct cutting edge research with local, regional, national, and international scopes.
