7.1.3 Indicators and Targets Te South Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative (SALCC) worked collaboratively with numerous agencies and organizations to develop natural resource indicators and targets based on ecological, practical, and social criteria (SALCC 2013) . Te ecological criteria focus on how well indicators capture key ecosystem elements and major landscape threats. Te practical criteria focus on the ability to monitor and model the indicators based on cur- rent resources and eforts. Te social criteria focus on how well the indicators resonate with
