and I first drove it two years ago at age 76. The caption mentioned that from the rear view it was apparent I widened the body 18 inches in the rear and wedged it to the original width at the cowl. One problem—there was no rear view shown.

Howard, After reading your letter and checking the photo we ran I have to wonder how many readers spotted the extra-wide rear window? I didn’t so we dug one up to show the effect.—ED
