allowed to sign up at Nick Donovan’s Rockin’ Road Show trailer. Two cars will leave at the same time, front tires on the start line, and the last one to have front tires cross the finish line wins and goes on to the next round. Braking is not permitted, and disabling brake lights will be checked before each race. If brake lights are activated, the vehicle will be disqualified. Shifting into neutral is permitted, but you cannot come to a complete stop. Participants need to be at the race location no later than 1:30pm on Saturday (exact location will be noted on the Event Guide), and the decision of the officials will be final. Winner of the Slow Race will be invited to participate in Sunday’s Circle of Winners. Why not come out and give it a try? Mobility Scooters Returning once again to the Western Nationals will be ABC Scooter Cruiser for those needing a little assistance, whether a participant or spectator, getting around the fairgrounds. To reserve a scooter, reach out to Armond Chalmers at 818-639-7091 and he’ll get you all set up. ABC Scooter Cruiser will be located just to the left of the main entrance. Sunday Church Service Also, back by popular demand at the Western Street Rod Nationals Church Service will be local Reverend Angelo Frazier of the Riverlakes Community Church. The Reverend will perform Sunday’s non-denomi- national Church Service. Just a reminder, the service starts at 10am on Sunday, April 27, and will take place at the Budweiser Pavilion.
