29 below TERRY MILES Terry Miles from New Bloomfield, Missouri, bought his slick ’66 Ford Mustang from his grandfather. The factory hot rod features a 289/C4 powertrain, Ivy Green paint with primer and bodywork from previous owners, a nice set of American Torq Thrusts, and a black interior.

MICHAEL BRIGGS

The standard hot rod formula is a small old car with a giant old engine, and we can’t think of a better combo to fit that bill than Michael Briggs’ ’85 Chevy S10 he pulled out of a barn in Hickory, Michigan. Michael slipped in a 350/TH350 Chevy powertrain, dropped front spindles, lowered springs in the back, a blue cloth interior with custom tunes, and finished it all off with a set of US Mags wearing Cooper Cobra rubber.

ERICKA GARLINGER Ericka Garlinger from Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania, loves going to the Nationals East with her dad and grandfather (Ron Jr. and Sr.) in her ’88 Chevrolet pickup she received from her grandpa. The mostly stock truck features a blue stripe accenting a blue cloth interior, a 350/700R4 powertrain, and aluminum wheels with Prime Well rubber.
