Superintendent Dr. Stefanie Phillips Welcomes SAUSD Community Back to School

On behalf of all of the administrators, educators, and support staff of the Santa Ana Unified School District, I want to tell you how excited we are to hear the ringing of that first school bell. I think I speak for everyone employed at SAUSD when I say that while we certainly love summer, we also spend a few moments every day of the break longing to get back behind a desk, to share a piece of history, to see that moment when a math concept clicks in a student’s head.

As the year begins, you’re going to discover a number of new learning opportunities, see some new faces, and, for some, begin studying in new places. We opened several new learning spaces like the 4th Street location for the Advanced Learning Academy Early College Program. We also made adjustments to others like the creation of a new space within Century High School for the Adult Transition Program.
