Sunday School Association. ►REV. TRUMAN THOMPSON has been appointed superintendent of the Denver (Colo.) Rescue Mission. Once a seemingly hopeless alcoholic, Rev. Thompson was saved in a rescue mission in Akron, Ohio. He has been on the staff of the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles. ►DR. MERRILL C. TENNY, dean of the graduate school of Wheaton College, and Dr. Armin Gesswein, chairman of the Spiritual Life Commission of the National Association of Evangelicals, have been re­ sponsible for the material prepared for the World Day of Prayer, February 13. ►DR. JOHN G. MITCHELL, pastor of the Central Bible Church of Portland, and head of the Board of Trustees of Mult­ nomah School of the Bible, has announced the establishment of the DORIS COFFIN ALDRICH Memorial Fund, named in memory of the Wife of DR. W. M. ALD ­ RICH, the school’s president. Mrs. Aid- rich died May 9, 1958, as a result of an automobile accident. ►OLINDA, a country girl of South America, plays herself in the newly re­ leased production of the Latin American Mission, “ COLOMBIA CONFLICT.” Sit­ ting in the home of the evangelical pastor, she and her mother listen to the Gospel message and accept with gratitude the first Bible they have ever seen.

Olinda of "Colombia Conflict" and mother. ►REV. HARRY A. JONES, for 35 years a Baptist missionary in India and Pakistan, passed away September 17, 1958 at the age of 61 in Kaikohe, New Zealand. Mr. Jones was president of the graduating class of BIOLA in 1922.
