TEXARKANA FUNERAL HOMES Our Families Serving Yours

OUR STORY Texarkana Funeral Home has been a cornerstone of our community since its inception in 1939. Founded by Howard Fuqua at the bustling intersection of 6th and Main Streets, our journey began in a time when downtown Texarkana was the vibrant heart of the city. Back then, the Federal Building was only four years old, and the Perot Theater was known as the Saenger Theater. From the beginning, our dedicated staff worked tirelessly to build a reputation based on trust and compassion. As a result, more and more families turned to Texarkana Funeral Home for guidance

Now, the legacy of Texarkana Funeral Home continues under the leadership of the original founder’s grandsons, Vickers and Thomas Fuqua. They embody our tag line, “Our Families Serving Yours,” by ensuring that every family we serve receives the highest level of care and compassion. We strive to be a beacon of support and empathy, offering a helping hand and a caring heart to all those who entrust us with their loved ones. Texarkana Funeral Home remains committed to honoring our heritage while continually evolving to meet the needs of our community.
