ABOUT US Twitty Nursery is proud to have
served Texarkana for nearly a century - 99 years! Our family has been deeply involved in this business for four generations, and we are delighted to announce that Josh Eaton and his wife, Marisol, are joining us as emerging owners. Josh and Marisol have been dedicated to the nursery, and we are confident that they will carry on our family’s legacy and continue to serve our local community. Twitty Nursery was established in 1925 by R. S. Twitty and later acquired by Josh’s great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Harper, in 1948. In 1969, Josh’s grandparents, the Crains, became partners with the Harpers. Fast forward to 1996, Kathie and Mike Eaton became the proud third-generation owners of Twitty Nursery. We have worked tirelessly for four generations to modernize and expand the nursery while putting our community first. WHAT SETS US APART Our corporation operates three separate but interlinking divisions: a full-service retail yard, landscaping and design, and a farm. Our retail yard offers the widest selection of plants in the Texarkana area, and we provide unparalleled expertise in insect and disease control, soil improvement, and plant care. Customers can find an extensive range of Southern Living plants and receive guidance on planting and nurturing their purchases. Spanning eight acres, Twitty Nursery boasts an abundance of stunning shrubs, roses, fruit and nut trees, evergreens, deciduous trees, annuals, and perennials. Additionally, we offer a diverse array of mulches, compost, and stone.
