MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN – K Be ready with power tools in hand, as you embark on an exciting career path. Half of your course content will be spent in a hands-on mechanical lab setting where you’ll get to use the latest cutting-edge industry equipment like milling machines, surface grinders, metal lathes, and more. The curriculum also boasts a strong foundation in technical specialties like AutoCAD, technical math, and technical communications. Reading blueprints, operating lifting devices, and installing power systems will all be in a day's work. Career Opportunities: Mechanical designer, additive manufacturing technician, CNC programmer, millwright, maintenance technician, field technician, rigging and hoisting specialist, conveyor technician, electromechanical technician, robotics technician.

WELDING AND FABRICATION TECHNICIAN – C

APPRENTICESHIPS

Gain the expertise to work in a dynamic field that specializes in manipulating metals for a variety of components and structures in a construction or manufacturing setting. Take courses in specialized techniques like shielded and gas metal arc welding. Also, you’ll become proficient in blueprint reading, safety and rigging, layout and fitting, and more. Plus, get the chance to take Computer-Aided Design (CAD) courses while working in an advanced fabrication shop. Career Opportunities: Service technician, vehicle diagnostics, preventative maintenance technician, service advisor, alignment specialist, suspension specialist, tire and lube specialist, and various roles and responsibilities within a car dealership. This valuable in-school training opportunity focuses on the knowledge and applied skills required to master this high-demand trade. Building and repairing a variety of structures with several concrete materials are just some of the projects you’ll get to experience. Learn techniques such as the fundamentals of classical French cuisine, how to create classical and modern desserts, and the basic knowledge of nutritional principles. ELECTRICIAN: CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE – APPRENTICESHIP - K The path to becoming an electrician requires apprenticeship instruction.
