WORK ON CAMPUS The Student Employment on Campus Program allows you to earn money and gain practical work experience, often in positions related to your field of study. Flexible work hours accommodate your class schedule.

BUDGETING FOR COLLEGE While college is a major expense, it is a worthwhile investment for your future success. Make a budget for these expenses associated with a post-secondary education. Canadian dollar figures are approximate for an academic year/two semesters.

FINANCIAL AID/OSAP SLC has Financial Aid Officers on each campus to help you explore options, including the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). OSAP is a mix of grants and loans to help you with the costs of your post-secondary education by supplementing your financial resources. OSAP is open to Ontario residents who are Canadian Citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons. When to apply: The application is typically available in May for the next academic year.

BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS Each year, SLC awards hundreds of scholarships and bursaries ranging from $500 to $3,000 to help students pay for college. Applying is easy - completing one application puts you in consideration for all SLC awards. When to apply: By the application deadlines found at stlawrencecollege.ca/awards

Tuition and fees $4,000-$11,000, depending on program Residence or off-campus housing: $7,000-$8,000 Food (meal plan and/or groceries): $2,200-$4,000+ Books and other course materials: $800-$1,500, depending on program Parking: $450 Other costs to consider: Transportation, entertainment, medical expenses, and cell phone.
