ΡΞ In March, Stephon Clark is killed by two police of- ficers while in the back- yard of his grandmother's house with a phone in his hand in Sacramento, CA. — In September, Botham Jean is killed by an officer. The officer alleged she believed it was her apart- ment and was eventually sentenced to 10 years.

Eric L. Johnson (Theta Iota 1996) becomes the 60 th Mayor of Dallas, TX. 2020 Alumni Chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi are chartered in the cities of Newport- Covington (KY), Pearland- Manvel-Fresno (TX), Commerce-Greenville (TX) Abu Dhabi and Canada. On February 23, Ahmaud Arbrey was unarmed, shot and killed while jogging. The murder was videoed. It took nearly 75 days before the assailants were arrested.
