Allyson Fasnacht, Associate Head Coach (Third Season)
Allyson Fasnacht is in her third year with the Thunderbirds. Fasnacht spent the past 12 years at Saint Mary's, serving her first eight years as an assistant coach before getting promoted to associate head coach in 2019. During this time, Sanders and Fasnacht served on the coaching staff together before Sanders was hired as the head coach of the Thunderbirds in 2018. Fasnacht was named Saint Mary's interim head coach for the 2022-23 season. Fasnacht earned a bachelor's degree in 2007 in sports management from Liberty University and later graduated with a master's degree in educational leadership from Nevada.
Jay Johnson, Assistant Coach (Eighth Season)
Jay Johnson is entering his eighth season as an assistant coach for the Southern Utah women's basketball team. Before coming to Southern Utah, Johnson held the title of Director of Women’s Basketball Operations at Saint Mary’s College for the 2017-18 season. Johnson attended Saint Mary’s College from 2013-17 and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Since joining the Thunderbirds in 2018, Johnson has been instrumental in the development of SUU’s guard play, scouting, and player development, helping guide the team through one of the most successful stretches in program history.
Advit Raghavan, Assistant Coach (First Season)
Advit Raghavan begins his first season as an assistant coach back at Southern Utah. Before his return, he was the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at both Cal State Northridge from 2023-2024 and Cal State Bakersfield from 2024-2025. Raghavan rejoins the SUU program after spending 2021-23 as the director of basketball operations. During his first year, he helped the T-Birds to a second-place finish in the Big Sky Conference. In his second year, Southern Utah moved to the Western Athletic Conference, where he played an instrumental part in SUU winning the WAC regular season and Tournament titles as the program made its first NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament appearance.
Tamia Braggs, Director of Basketball Operations (First Season)
Southern Utah Women’s Basketball welcomed Tamia Braggs to the staff in 2025 as an Assistant Coach and Director of Basketball Operations. Braggs is no stranger to Cedar City, having previously served as a graduate assistant for Southern Utah Women's Basketball while completing her master’s degree. In that role, she produced digital content for the program’s social media platforms, created video highlights, and assisted with gameday operations—laying the foundation for her return to SUU in a full-time position. A graduate of Santa Clara University, Braggs earned her bachelor’s degree in Media and Marketing Relations before completing her master's degree at Southern Utah University.
