Well where on earth do I start with this incredible wedding venue. From the first time we visited this hotel, I wanted to cancel our visits to others as I knew this was the place I wanted to get married, it was my husbands choice and I loved it, the wedding team Laura and Lauren are exceptional, these two are honestly the best at their job and what they do, nothing is too much! They have helped keep the stress down for myself for all those months and for that I will be forever grateful to these two! Our wedding was amazing, we got married on Friday 19th May and our friends and family are still talking about it now, the grounds are out of this world, the service is amazing and fun! The manager Rob makes this place, I literally think he sleeps there, he's at your beg and call. Food service is amazing, they have perfected weddings and you can clearly see this with the efforts they go too. If your looking for a wedding venue that can create your dream day and are relaxed at your needs. Look no further and just book with Abbeyhouse Hotel. Lauren helped us throughout the day with everything, she kept giving us time throughout to sit an reflect which was great as if we hadn't had her this wouldn't of happened. Firstly I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Abbey House who made our wedding day the most magical, amazing day of our lives. Special shout out to Lauren and Laura in the wedding team and Rob who coordinated our day perfectly. You are all a massive credit to Abbey House and and I will never be able to truly express my gratitude to you. Lauren and Laura, the communication we had over the months leading up to the wedding was smooth, quick and totally stress free. Then the day before the wedding we had a hand over meeting meaning I could totally relax and enjoy the night before with my guests and bridesmaids. Arranging breakfast to the lodge the morning of the wedding was also a massive bonus so thank you. The venue is magical and one I will forever be obsessed with. If anyone is planning a wedding, I would 100 percent recommend visiting abbey house. I only decided I wanted a winter wedding when I stayed at abbey house and saw the amazing decorations that they put up!! With 158 day guests in attendance, i did worry about the day running smoothly but I needn’t of. In fact, it couldn’t of gone any better. Everyone loved the wedding and couldn’t of spoke highly enough of the staff, food and their accommodation. Its a day and venue that everyone will speak about for a long time! I would like to also mention how impressed I was with the waiting on staff who offered a five star silver service! It didn’t go unnoticed how professional you all were, even when you all had to make their way around all the dancing guests (sorry Rob!) haha! We have just had our wedding at Abbey House and all I can say is thank you so much. You have gone above and beyond our expectations and just made such a difference to our day. The wedding team have been absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble and you went out of your way to make sure we had everything we needed. We are so grateful to you all and can never thank you enough. We have enjoyed our day massively and a big part of that was down to you all. Everyone was talking about how amazing the venue was and how thoughtful the staff were. Really can’t get over the day at all! The hotel was amazing, so clean and well kept. We got married at Abbey House Hotel and Gardens in October 2023 and could not have asked for a better day. We chose Abbey House after attending a wedding open day in Autumn 2022 and being very impressed with the room set-up and wedding coordinators Laura and Lauren. We then booked our wedding and Laura and Lauren were always on hand to guide us through every step of the process. They took time to get to know us as a couple and had a real understanding of what we wanted from our wedding day. As Abbey House has strong relationships with local suppliers, Laura and Lauren were able to work with others on our behalf, which took a lot of stress out of the wedding planning. On the day itself, Laura, Lauren and the team at Abbey House were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. They ensured we and our guests had a fantastic wedding day in a gorgeous setting with excellent food and entertainment.

Me and my husband were absolutely blown away with this venue and all the staff! Laura and Lauren kept in contact with me on the lead up to our wedding, always on hand to answer any questions. They are so friendly, organised and on the ball with everything! And Rob is a breath of fresh air, so helpful... bubbly and made the absolute best master of ceremonies for our wedding! The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. Everything ran like clock work, the food was delicious, the set up for the ceremony/breakfast/evening party was amazing!
