The 816 detached listings in Surrey in December were down 40% month-over-month and 29% lower year-over-year. December’s detached sales (535 homes) were 4% below November but 106% higher vs last year. The sales-to-listings ratio increased in December, to 66%, as Surrey’s detached market remained in seller’s market territory. At $1.17M, the benchmark price for detached homes was 1.5% above November and 12% higher vs December 2019. The average sold price of $1.32M was 3% higher month-over-month and 15% above December of last year.
