Dear reader, 2005 was a special milestone in my career. In that year, after 16 years of working for two other parts manufacturers, I decided to start my own company and so “ Versus-Omega ” was born. 2025 will be another milestone for me and Versus-Omega. We will then celebrate our 20th anniversary , and look back on what I believe has been a successful journey. During this 2024 edition of the IAA in Hannover we are proud to present you our novelties for 2024-2025 . Omega 35 We redesigned the famous Omega sliding roof resulting in a total roof height of 35 mm. Brooklyn Our new Brooklyn roof tarpaulin combines ease of use, good value for money and is Code XL approved. Oxo Penta Combine our user friendly Penta Wave and enhanced load security. Penta Wave Pro Metal folding plates and a load securing plate multiply your load securing options. Penta Wave Wall Our famous slider equipped with aluminium panels: no loading limits. Penta Swing The side curtain can be swung over the front/rear of your truck/ trailer. Scala Pillars We offer a scala of sliding pillars with a complete set of options. In order to make optimal use of the internal height, Versus has developed Omega 35 , a completely new roof generation. The roof sticks, rear carriage, aluminium roof rails and folding plates have been redesigned, resulting in a total roof height of only 35mm . In the new generation of ALTO 35 and DUO 35 roof rails we have added a channel in which a LED strip for interior lighting can be mounted. THE NEW 35 GENERATION IS MORE FLAT THAN THE ORIGINAL ROOF.

VERSUS-OMEGA IS ALWAYS LOOKING TO OPTIMIZE AND REDUCE COSTS OF THE PRODUCTS IT OFFERS. We now offer our Brooklyn roof tarpaulin . (Why we chose the name Brooklyn? Have a look at New York’s famous bridge!) We start from a standard roof tarpaulin and add diagonal welding tapes . The welding tapes start in a specific pattern from the headboard and back diagonally towards the sides of the roof. Thus we obtain a light but strong web that absorbs diagonal and lateral forces when taking sharp and S-curves. The diagonal welding tapes are connected to the corresponding roof sticks. Brooklyn is also tested and approved according to the EN12642 Code XL standard ...

OXO PENTA : TO ENHANCE LOAD SECURITY.
Although our standard Penta System is approved for beverage transport, the transport of barrels, often in combination with palletised crates, is yet another matter. To enhance load security and to make sure that barrels of any dimension stay in place, we have developed a system with integrated aramid straps in the side curtain.

In the PRO version, the folding plates are made of metal. As with the Wave, these metal folding plates exist in the dimensions 470mm & 650mm . Using the metal folding plates, it is possible to equip the mini-pillars with a load securing plate , just another option for (backward) load security. PENTA WAVE WALL : NUMEROUS OPTIONS FOR SECURING THE CARGO IN THE TRUCK.
In this version of the Wave, the plastic folding plates are replaced by aluminium panels . These panels offer numerous options for securing the cargo in the truck.

OUR PENTA SWING IS THE LATEST MEMBER OF THE PENTA FAMILY.
The Swing variants of the Penta family allow the entire side curtain to be pushed over the front/rear of the trailer/ truck, which makes the cargo area fully accessible from the side. Loading and unloading has never been so quick and easy! The trick: depending on the configuration of your truck/ trailer and local legislation, add curved top and bottom rails to the front and/or rear section. The curved rails are available in both R300 and R500 radius, allowing to have both Penta Wave sides in the front/rear of the vehicle.
Quick Lock doors and sliding pillars have adapted rollers, allowing them to easily get through the curves. The “SWING” variant is currently available for 3 Penta systems . - Penta City Swing - Penta City Swing Pro - Penta Wave Swing SWING variants of the Penta Wave PRO as well as the Penta Wave Wall are under development.

With just 2 different pillar bodies in S355 & S700, we can build a whole SCALA of variations (*). - Fixed and extendable pillars - Liftable L&D pillars with adjustable pin as in Set Connect L&D - Liftable L&D Pro pillars with an adjustable toothed slider as in Set Connect L&D PRO - 2 freely moveable and lockable pillars “ Move 1 & Move 2 ”. (*) The S700 version is recognizable by the spherical bulge at the bottom WITH OUR VERSUS SLIDING PILLARS , WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER A SCALA OF POSSIBILITIES.

Due to its nature, tyre transport has quite some challenges. Next to the high weight of the cargo, the loosely stacked tyres tend to put the superstructure of a curtainsider truck/trailer under high stress with strong bulging as a result. This is not only dangerous, but also extends the width of the vehicle beyond the permissible width. OXO TYRE consists of a sliding side curtain with horizontally integrated straps, in combination with the SCALA sliding pillars and the OXO strap tensioners . This combination makes it possible to reinforce the superstructure to such an extent that bulging of the side curtains - when loaded - is no longer possible. OXO TYRE : HORIZONTALLY INTEGRATED STRAPS, THE SCALA SLIDING PILLARS AND THE OXO STRAP TENSIONERS.

THE AXCES HYDRAMAN IS A SINGLE
LIFTING SYSTEM THAT CAN LIFT MANUALLY UP TO 500 MM. It has a pump on each corner of the truck/trailer; 4 pumps are needed to equip a whole truck/ trailer, each pump goes up in turn. In addition to the well-known steel version, we now also have an all-aluminium version. The Set Connect connects the pumps to the roof.
