B eograd se ponovo sprema za emo- tivni zemljotres. U magičnom ambi- jentu Donjeg grada na Kalemegda- nu nastupiće 7. avgusta jedan od najvećih pesnika i izvođača u istoriji rok muzike, Nik Kejv, sa svojim legendarnim bendom „The Bad Seeds“. Ovaj koncert dolazi u okviru njihove monumentalne evropske letnje turneje, a Beograd ima privilegiju da bude jedna od ključnih stanica.
Veza između ovdašnje pu- blike i Nika Kejva odavno je prevazišla okvire obič- nog odnosa obožavalaca i muzičke zvezde. Sve je po- čelo daleke 1990. godine mitskim koncertom u pre- punom SKC-u, u predve- čerje jedne istorijske epo- he. Usledili su grandiozni nastupi u „Beogradskoj areni“ 2008. i 2017. go- dine, kao i nezaboravna katarza na „Exit“ festiva- lu 2022. godine, koju mno- gi kritičari i danas pamte kao jedan od najemotivni- jih i najmoćnijih koncerata ikada održanih na Petro- varadinskoj tvrđavi. Sada, punih devet godina po- sle poslednjeg samostal- nog beogradskog nastupa, Kejv se vraća pod vedro ne- bo prestonice. Na scenu podno Kalemeg- danske tvrđave bend stiže
ed the boundaries of a standard fan-and- star relationship. It all began back in 1990 with a mythical concert in a packed SKC (Student Cultural Centre), on the eve of a historic era. Grandiose performances fol- lowed at the Belgrade Arena in 2008 and 2017, as well as an unforgettable catharsis at the Exit Festival in 2022, which many critics still remember as one of the most emotional and powerful concerts ever held at the Petrovaradin Fortress. Now, a full nine years after his last solo performance in Belgrade, Cave returns under the cap- ital’s open sky. The band arrives at the stage below the Kalemegdan Fortress with their album Wild God. Alongside new songs that balance deep sorrow, redemption and triumphant joy, the audience will have the chance to hear timeless classics from all phases of his dec- ades-long career. Because Nick Cave con- certs are no ordinary gigs – they are musi- cal liturgies led by the unstoppable energy of a “rock preacher” who erases all barriers between the stage and the front rows. Pre- pare yourself for a night where raw rock ‘n’ roll and pure emotion intertwine, as there is no doubt that the musical event of the year awaits us.
B elgrade is preparing once again for an emotional earthquake. On 7 th Au- gust, in the magical setting of the Lower Town (Donji grad) at Kalemegdan, one of the greatest poets and performers in the history of rock music, Nick Cave, will perform with his legendary band, The Bad Seeds. This concert comes as part of their monumental European summer tour, with Belgrade having the privilege of being one of the key stops.
