2022 CRITICAL INITIATIVES

• GGA develops a five-year policy agenda • Implementation of the policy agenda (advocacy, collective action, etc.) • Host a “Philanthropy to Policy Day" with GGA participants and state legislators to work on and advance the public policy agenda • The GGA public policy agenda is endorsed by GGA's independent sector partners and our communities. • Link GGA's policy agenda to a dashboard of community identified issues and solutions • Develop and illustrate linkages from funder grantees (non-profits) to policy agenda (For example, NBCDI needs GA to alleviate school suspensions. Education funders advocate for this with GA policy makers)

• Design, develop and execute policy leadership institute • Implement a segmented learning model for public policy based on the level of experience of the participant • Establish a series of public/private collaborations and partnerships. These collaboratives would create learning environments and use storytelling to help inform and educate policy makers and the public.

• Develop relationships with state leaders and policy makers (convenings, etc.) • Establish calendar of convenings and events with state leaders and policy makers
