Dock Stroll Toys for Tots Recap This past month at Riverside Marina we hosted our first Dock Stroll event on A dock. We had a great turnout and the weather cooperated perfectly! This was a wonderful opportunity to mingle on the docks with the boat owners and their lovely crews and get

a chance to sneak a peek at some of those big boats we always see from the outside. From the Flying Dutchman passing out caviar and champagne, to Everglade’s photo-op with the infamous “Sophie,” it was a memorable night for all! Every boat owner on A dock that was in town for the event participated and were kind enough to open their boats for visiting. Many boats also provided snacks, and the Burgee Bar opened early for cocktails. Carrie, Chef Brad, Youseff and their teams pulled off an impressive spread and we donated 10% of the proceeds from the evening to Toys for Tots. Thanks to the generous donations we received, we were able to purchase countless toys for children in need in our area. The staff had a great time working together to pull off this event, and we hope to do many more like this in the future. A big thank you goes out to all who participated and made donations to our Toys for Tots Fundraiser -- and special thanks to my husband Evan who took some great pictures with his camera. From the staff here at Riverside Marina, we love seeing members strolling our beautiful docks, so feel free to come take a walk anytime! Missy Duffy Riverside Marina at MIYC Dockmaster
