TRAVELING ALABAMA & MORE! Several local residents recently went on a trip with the Albertville Chamber of Commerce to the Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park in Canada. The group toured several scenic locations including Lake Louise and the City of Calgary. The Alabama Ledger is delighted to share some of the pictures that Susan Armstrong made during the trip in this section of Traveling Alabama. Also, if anyone is interested in traveling with the Albertville Chamber of Commerce in the future, there are several upcoming opportunities.
There are two upcoming trips to the Pacific Northwest & California. The June 2027 tour sold out quickly, but the Albertville Chamber has secured a second departure for July 5–12, 2027. This will include a journey from Seattle to San Francisco, featuring breathtaking scenery, iconic landmarks, and unforgettable memories. The upcoming Discover Scotland trip on October 4-13, 2027 is already sold out. The Chamber is now taking registrations for another trip to Scotland on September 25 - October 4, 2027. Experience the beauty and history of Scotland as the group travels from Glasgow north to the Orkney Islands, then south to Edinburgh. There is an opportunity to enhance the trip with an optional 4-day/3-night pre-tour extension in London. The Chamber will hold a special discover Scotland information presentation on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. at the Albertville Chamber of Commerce office. The Chamber is planning an Enchanting Christmas Markets tour in December 2027. This trip will celebrate the holiday season at the enchanting Christmas Markets of France, Germany, and Switzerland. The Chamber is also planning a Holland & Belgium Springtime Tulip River Cruise on April 6 - 14, 2027. In March 2028 the Chamber will Head Down Under for the adventure of a lifetime to Australia, New Zealand & Beyond. This trip will explore the Australian Outback and New Zealand's South Island, with an optional pre-tour extension to Tasmania and a post- tour extension to Fiji. Seats are limited and many of these tours are expected to fill quickly. Start planning your next adventure today.
