The Hampshire Companies sells 112,270 s/f warehouse building in South Hackensack, NJ
OUTHHACKENSACK, NJ — The Hampshire Companies , a ful l - service, private real estate investment firm with equity in assets valued at over $2.5 billion, has announced sale of its 112,270 s/f industrial warehouse building located at 490 Huyler St. in South Hack- ensack, to Park Avenue Motor Corporation. The company has leased the building since 2012 and the tenant chose to exercise its purchase option. “This sale allows The Hamp- shire Companies to gener- ate an attractive yield on its investment,” said Igor Der- baremdiker , senior invest- ment manager of The Hamp- shire Companies. “Hampshire made extensive renovations to the property in 2010 in order to improve the property, both aesthetically and functionally in order to attract qualified, prospective buyers. The Park S FITECH to host Engineered Security Systems on its private cloud FAIRFIELD, NJ — FI- TECH , a consulting and tech- nology services firm, will pro- vide private cloud services on the FTHosting cloud for Engineered Security Sys- tems (“ESS”) , a life safety and security firm located in Towaco, NJ. FITECH will also provide network hosting, com- prehensive, ‘round-the-clock network and server support, and full data backup and re- covery services. “Private clouds offer a higher level of security for our clients’ networks,” said FITECH CEO IanMarlow . “We look forward to ensuring that ESS, which specializes in providing critical security services, has the same attention paid to the security of its own computing network via our private cloud.” FITECH’s FTHosting service includes periodic audits of the computing infrastructure, disaster recovery, automatic data backups and more. “We understand firsthand the importance of having 24/7/365 coverage,” said David George , CEO of Engineered Security Systems. “FITECH’s private cloud solution offers deliverables, such as emer- gency response and disaster re- covery that were of particular importance to our company.” n

Prior to securing Park Av- enue Motor Corporation as a tenant, Hampshire invested in the site making extensive exterior renovation to the property, including a new fa- çade, windows and expanded parking capabilities, offering ample on-site parking that includes car spaces along Huy- ler St. and Bruce Court. Ad- ditionally, sidewalks and new landscaping were added along Hulyer St. and Chippewa St. to enhance the curb appeal of the building. n
