Francesca had a wonderful weekend at Bicton Arena, taking 2nd place in 1.10 meter on Willie Jo. Qualifying for National Championships and Hickstead Elite Championships in August.
Fencing Success
Congratulations to Aidan in Year 12 who took part in British Youth Championships Regional Qualifying Event at Millfield last week. After a full day of fencing in the Epee class he finished in 6th place, he also secured a place in the South - West team at the British Championships.
Also a huge well done to Jason in Year 10 who took part in the Foil category a week later!

Canteen Cuisine Showcased in Cookery Classes

The nutrition lesson looked at how Carbohydrates fit into a well - balanced healthy diet, the benefits, and what happens with excess, and deficiency in the body, looking in particular at the difference between complex and simple carbohydrates including non - starch polysaccharides. The first lesson was followed by a wonderful cooking demonstration lesson of bite - sized treats with practical food preparation of different flavoured energy balls from Jordan .
