Sunday Circle
Sunday Circle, held twice a month during the school year, is a vibrant program where children with special needs and trained teen volunteers come together for afternoons filled with creativity, connection, and growth. Guided by experienced specialists and Friendship Circle staff, children engage in activities like art, music, movement therapy, yoga, and games—all designed to support their emotional and developmental needs. At the heart of it all are the one-on-one friendships between children and their teen buddies, relationships that foster confidence, belonging, and joy. While children thrive in this enriching environment, parents enjoy a few hours of well- deserved rest, knowing their child is in safe and compassionate hands. Beyond each Sunday, the impact lasts: children build social skills and self- esteem, teens grow into empathetic leaders, and families feel the strength of a truly inclusive community.
