The Holy Spirit applies the means of grace in our hearts and through our lives in the world. The kingdom of God is where God’s will is done. In our hearts: love. In our places: shalom. Our purpose in life is to seek God’s love to be created in our hearts and God’s shalom to be created in the places where we live. When we believe God wants us to do something, in our hearts we say “Yes” or “No”. The Church is God’s chosen instrument to build up the kingdom in our hearts and in the world. We each have spiritual gifts meant to be used in and through the Church to build up God’s kingdom in our hearts and in the world.
