we don’t see
what the next goo thing from God will be.
In that moment
it is best
to maintain
understanding, confidence, hope
that God’s nature has not changed that God continues to be the Father of lights the source of every generous act the source of every perfect gift
without variation without changing. When we don’t maintain that understanding, confidence, hope God’s nature doesn’t change. God continues to be the Father of lights
the source of every generous act the source of every perfect gift
without variation without changing bringing only good to us whether we see it or can anticipate it or not. God’s nature doesn’t change. God’s way of love towards us doesn’t change. God is faithful. Knowing that God is faithful becaus that’s who God was and is and is to come let us seek for ourselves the grace of faithfulness faithfulness always to understand trust hope in God’s faithful goodness.
God, establish your heart of faithfulness in our hearts. Amen.
