1.1 Since we are created in the world, the world is immediately before us, in front of us, and God is not. We are not in the immediate presence of God. We are immediately in the world. There is nothing between us and the world. We are part of the world. p. 2 1.101 Our senses, our brain, any “programs” or categories that come with our brain (the mechanisms of sense perception, emotion, and thought) are all parts of the world. 1.11 God is in the world the way an artist is in her work.. We can learn many things about a person by studying her work.
1.111 The-World-As-Created can’t teach us everything about God.
1.12 We become aware of God before we make the connection with God. We can be aware of God and in angst.
