Hassan Hamdar joined SERC in July of 2019 after the transition of FRCC into SERC. Hassan worked in various roles at FRCC for over 11 years. His main focus at FRCC was event analysis and situational awareness but he was also responsible for misoperations reporting and system operator training. Hassan has a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida and a NERC Certified System Operator.
