Ministry of Local Government Development (KPKT) invited MSCA to participate in the stakeholder engagement with YB Nga Kor Ming, in the recent budget review 2023. In regards of smart city development budget, the MSCA EXCO Committee Member, Mr. Mohamed Shajahan Mohamed Iqbal, EXCO Member of MSCA, offered his view and suggestion. He mentioned that "the budget should be based on economic zones to achieve impactful results and align to the delivery of smart city indicators and not depending on PBTs limited budget to achieve these targets". This engagement helps all stakeholders understand the ministry aspirations with two-way communication with YB KPKT himself for better clarity and further improvement for the Ministry based on valuable feedbacks throughout the sessions.
Business Matching & Market Access with BRT Sorocoba 📆 22 August 2023 🏢 Online via Microsoft Teams
MSCA in collaboration with MATRADE, organised a session for members (MPay, AdvanCTI, 3OPP, Hexon Data and PSI Control) with BRT Sorocaba, São Paulo to seek potential collaboration for technology transfer and expertise exchange for smart cities solutions.
The BRT system in Sorocaba is a massive urban public transport system developed by MobiBrasil & CS Brasil, offering integrated terminals, a bus network with exclusive lane, and accessible boarding and disembarking. The system also features an ITS system with Wi-Fi, ATMs, 24-hour security cameras, TVs, and digital panels for passenger convenience. The session aims to explore potential collaboration between MSCA members and BRT Sorocaba on technology transfer, smart mobility solutions, and shared experiences in integrated BRT systems
