MSCA strengthened its international engagement by exploring collaboration with the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) on smart cities technology, services, and expertise, which hosted by Sunway University. MSCA delegate led by Dr Chen (Vice President) and accompanied by Azura Ali (Secretary), Dr Mazlan Abbas (Exco), Ang Kah Heng (BD Committee), Ts. Anusha Magendram (Head Secretariat) and all the MSCA secretariat. TCA delegate led by CEO of International Cooperation Center; Dr Chen-Yu Lee accompanied by 17 TCA members from 7 different companies. All 7 TCA
companies presented their products and solutions for smart cities. This session was expected to yield a new smart cities solution for Malaysia smart city in area of mobility, building, environment, living and digital infrastructure. MSCA @ World Congress on Innovation & Technology (WCIT|IDECS 2023) 📆 4-6 October 2023 🏢 Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, Sarawak
In conjunction with WCIT & IDECS 2023, MSCA together with Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) at the opening ceremony of WCIT|IDECS 2023. This tripartite MOUs was signed to advance the state’s digital economy, smart & sustainable technology solutions.
The MoU exchange ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development II, Datuk Francis Harden Hollis as well as alongside SDEC chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani. This collaboration enables all parties to leverage their strengths and work together to create new opportunities for the benefit of people in Sarawak.
