Ts. Dr. Raslan Ahmad, Chairman of Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) represented MSCA to briefed on ‘ kertas kerja pemakluman ’ titled, “ Memacu Pelaksanaan Bandar Pintar di Peringkat Negeri ke arah Malaysia Mampan dan Berteknologi Tinggi” at Work Committee Meeting for MEXCO- STI (Mesyuarat Menteri-Menteri dan Ahli-Ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri Berkaitan Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi) chaired by YB Chang Lih Kang, Minister of MOSTI. This paper received well response and feedbacks by the committee meeting members together with few recommendations for the way forward for the State level collaborations.
Courtesy Visit by Honorary Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan 📆 23 October 2023 🏢 MIGHT Partnership Hub, Cyberjaya
MSCA received a visit from Professor Dr Jung Hoon Lee, Honorary Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan Government, Republic of South Korea. The conversation aimed for both parties to learnt about Korea and Malaysia Smart City Industry Landscape. Prof Jung presented on Seoul Smart City Master Plan which focusing on three key areas (Smart Infrastructure, Smart Services & Smart Citizen). The meeting highlighted on National Technology Innovation Sand box Programme (NTIS), Malaysia Digital (MD) and Smart City Rating (ISO 37122) to enlighten Prof Jung about Malaysia Smart City Industry Landscape. Moving forward, both parties agreed to seek further collaboration opportunities especially on Sand box program for smart city and how to strengthening smart city assessment via ISO compliance.
