Ts Anusha Magendram was invited as one of the panellist at MUF2023's Special Session 2 moderated by Dr. Mohd Rizal Bin Osman. This session concluded the of advance sustainable urban transformation through more robust international alliances and local initiatives. In addition to increasing awareness of the 2030 Agenda and the New Urban Agenda, the session's objectives were to present data, research, innovations, and solutions for the faster implementation of smart cities.
Other invited speakers included Mr. Muhundhan Kamarapullai, Chief Digital Officer of MRANTI; Mr. Hamadlan Hj Hamdan, Chief Technology Officer of Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC); Dr. Yonis. M. Yonis Buswig, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS); and YBrs. TPr. Hajah Noraini binti Roslan, President of Klang City Council. MSCA EXCO, Siti Shafinaz Salim was invited as panellist at the National Planning Congress 2023 on "Digital Transformation in Promoting Smart Living: Building Smarter Cities for the Future." The session, moderated by TPr Md Nazri Mohd Noordin of the MIP advisory council, discussed the importance of fostering innovation through resilience in planning. Panellists agreed that decision-makers can contribute to the development of more resilient and adaptable communities and organisations by adopting an innovative culture based on data and technology.
