The SCEWC, a global event in Barcelona, promotes urban innovation by bringing together leaders from innovative companies, governments, and organisations to accelerate green, efficient, and thriving cities. Ts Dr Raslan Ahmad, represented MSCA among the Malaysian Delegation to SCEWC2023. The event featured panels on energy, environment, mobility, infra structure, and building, as well as Congress, Expo, and Side Events.
A Malaysia Pavilion was also organised by MDEC. Over 25,000 professionals from over 800 cities and 140+ countries shared their visions for a sustainable and liveable urban future.
SCEWC Brokerage Event 📆 9 November 2023
Ts Dr Raslan Ahmad presented on 'Incorporate Innovative Approaches For Risk Reduction And Climate Actions For Smart And Sustainable City Development' at Smart Cities Challenges 2023 @ Smart City Expo World Congress. The presentation highlighted Malaysia's National Low Carbon Cities Masterplan, which aims to transform cities into low carbon settlements. Cyberjaya cities are an example of low carbon city initiatives, driven by ESG frameworks.
The event, previously known as the Brokerage Event, offers 30-minute B2B and B2P meetings for SMEs, start-ups, entrepreneurs, universities, research groups, corporations, and institutions to find partners for collaborations in product development, manufacturing, licensing agreements, and joint ventures. Representatives from Colombia, Germany, South Korea, and Mexico were also presented here.
