Word of Life Fellowship, Inc – Statement of Faith
1. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired of God, and they are without error in the original writings, and they are the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
2. We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, who is eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, His death to pay the penalty for everyone’s sins, His bodily resurrection, His exaltation at God’s right hand, and His personal, imminent, pretribulational and pre-millennial return.
4. We believe that all have sinned and are therefore guilty before God and are under His condemnation.
5. We believe that all who by faith receive Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, therefore children of God and eternally saved, and that the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer to enlighten, guide, and enable the believer in life, testimony, and service. We believe that God answers the prayers of His people and meets their needs according to His purpose. 6. We believe that God gives spiritual gifts to all believers for the building up of the body of Christ. However, the miraculous sign gifts of the Spirit, such as tongues and healings, were limited to the early church.
7. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in Glory and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost in hell.
8. We believe that all believers are called to a life of separation from all worldly and sinful practices and alliances.
9. We believe that from the beginning with Adam and Eve, God ordained marriage as only between one man and one woman. All sexual activity outside of this biblical definition of marriage, including homosexual practices, is in direct contradiction to God’s Wor d and His intention for the institution of the home. 10.We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female for His glory. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God, and the rejection of one’s biological gender is a rejection of God’s decreed will and good plan for humanity and the individual.
5
Word of Life Fellowship, Inc – Standard of Conduct
1. Word of Life Fellowship, Inc., including domestic and foreign affiliations under the Word of Life structure, is dedicated to the Lordship of Christ in all areas of life. The distinctives of Word of Life lay in its philosophy and goals. The Word of Life family is a community of a board of directors, staff members, Palm Grove Residents, and students (hereafter referred to as “associates”). Each associate consequently bears certain responsibilities and obligations within the organization for the implementation of its philosophy and goals. In order that the organization functions efficiently and its goals be realized, it is necessary that there be a mutual commitment to a corpus of standards which involve the willing surrender of certain individual purposes and goals. 2. Word of Life follows specific biblical principles, which relate to Christian behavior. Therefore, Word of Life prohibits practices, which are clearly forbidden by the Word of God, such as drunkenness, sexual immorality, dishonesty, and the like (I Corinthians 6:9-20). Further, to expect associates to exemplify Christian love, consideration for the rights of others, honesty, and a high sense of Christian ethics is to expect only that which the Word of God teaches to be primary in the character of the Christian (Ephesians 4:24 – 5:8). 3. Word of Life is firmly committed to a literal interpretation of the Bible and rejects any attempt to “reinterpret” Scripture in light of “modern” moral or psychological theories. In the Biblical account of creation, the family was the first societal institution ordained by God. Furthermore, Scripture plainly declares that the first two humans created by God for His glory were distinctly male and female (Genesis 1:27, 2:18-22). Together, these complementary genders reflect the image and nature of God. We bel ieve that one’s gender is determined at birth and that the rejection of one’s biological gender is a rejection of God’s decreed will and His good plan for humanity and the individual. God joined the man and woman in the holy rite of matrimony and commanded them to be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 1:28). Therefore, the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Romans 7:2, I Corinthians 7:10, Ephesians 5:22-23). In both the Old and New Testaments, God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should take place outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. Accordingly, all forms of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful per versions of God’s gift of sex (Genesis 2:24, 19:5, 13, 26:8 -9, Leviticus 13:22, 18:1- 30, Romans 1:26-29, I Corinthians 5:1, 6:9, I Thessalonians 4:1-8, Hebrews 13:4). Since Word of Life believes that all sexual activity outside of a marriage, including hom osexual practices, are in direct opposition to God’s Word and constitute a direct contradiction to God’s institution of the home, Word of Life will not employ or continue to employ men or women who promote or participate in homosexual behavior or any other sexual activity outside of marriage. 4. Word of Life recognizes the principles of Christian liberty within the sphere of those things which are intrinsically innocent. However, Word of Life also recognizes that liberty needs to be restricted in certain instances. Scriptural precedent is found in Acts 15 and Romans 14, where certain practices inherently innocent were forbidden because they could do spiritual harm to other members of the Christian community.
6
Verses for reference include: I Corinthians 6:12 – Lawful, but not expedient (not profitable for our good). I Corinthians 10:23 – Lawful, but not edifying. I Corinthians 8:9 – Could be a stumbling block. Romans 1:32 – Christians are different, and by living like the world, we approve of it. There should be no pleasure in watching sin. Ephesians 5:6-7, 11 – Don’t be deceived with vanity and participate in it. Colossians 3:17 – Make sure it pleases the Lord, not the emotions, flesh, or self. Hebrews 12:1-2 – Lay aside weights as well as the sin. 5. Certain principles of conduct are a necessary part of the effort to establish an atmosphere within which the goals of Word of Life can be realized. For this reason and in an effort to maintain a consistent and above-reproach testimony to youth, Word of Life requires associates to refrain from the possession or use of alcoholic beverages, all smoking products, recreational and illicit drugs, from gambling and from social dancing. Ceremonial dancing at special family events, such as weddings and anniversaries is permitted. Biblical discretion and restraint will be exercised in all choices of entertainment, including radio, television, all forms of audio and visual recordings, movies, stage productions, computer and video gaming, various forms of literature and social media. (Psalm 101:3, Romans 14:13-17, I Corinthians 9:22-23, I Corinthians 10:31, 2 Corinthians 6:3, Philippians 4:8, Ephesians 5:3-4, I Timothy 4:12, Titus 2:12). Furthermore, it is expected that associates will actively support a local Bible-believing church through service, giving, and allegiance (Hebrews 10:24-25). 6. Word of Life rejects the principle that exposure to and/or experimentation with doubtful and objectionable practices is essential to the development of moral or intellectual discernment and/or discrimination. Word of Life reserves the right to make the final decision in any questionable area. 7. Word of Life recognizes the observance of Word of Life standards does not comprise the whole of an individual’s responsibility to God and hence does not necessarily indicate that one is living a life of full commitment. The philosophy of Word of Life, however, maintains that willingness to obey these standards shows a maturity and spiritual concern for the whole Christian community (Galatians 5:13-24). 8. Conduct that is an offense to good taste, sound morality, or Christian propriety will not be acceptable. While some may not have personal convictions wholly in accordance with Word of Life standards, the purpose underlying them necessitates the honorable obedience to them. If an individual can no longer in integrity conform to them, that person should withdraw from Word of Life. Willful disobedience of these standards will bring about dismissal from Word of Life immediately. 9. To insure that the position of Word of Life will be maintained in an uncompromising manner and believing that a consistent and exemplary life should be expected of those who undertake the instruction and guidance of Christian youth, it is required that associates shall individually affirm by signing the following at the time of initial association and shall so reaffirm yearly as required by Word of Life Florida.

WORD OF LIFE FLORIDA
PALM GROVE BIBLICAL GUIDELINES
STANDARD OF CONDUCT FOR WORD OF LIFE PALM GROVE
As a Christian organization, Word of Life Fellowship, Inc. is dedicated to the Lordship of Christ in all areas of life.
Specific Biblical principles that relate to Christian behavior are followed at all Word of Life facilities including Palm Grove. Word of Life, therefore, prohibits practices by residents and guests while on Word of Life property which are clearly forbidden by the Word of God such as drunkenness and sexual immorality. Certain principles of conduct are believed to be necessary to establish an atmosphere within which the goals of Word of Life may be realized. For this reason, Word of Life requires all residents and guests to neither possess nor use alcoholic beverages, illicit drugs or tobacco; exercise Christian discretion in the choice of entertainment; and to observe the Lord’s Day. WORD OF LIFE reserves the right to terminate the accommodations for guests who display disruptive or abusive conduct. Accommodations for married couples at all Word of Life facilities are reserved only for those couples with a Biblically defined marriage, which is one man and one woman, as their biological genders were determined at birth. Failure to adhere to these policies will result in the dismissal and removal of the persons involved. Conduct that is offensive to good taste, sound morality, or Christian propriety is unacceptable. While some may not have personal convictions wholly in accordance with these standards, the purpose underlying them necessitates the guests’ honorable complian ce with them.
RESIDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING
It is required that residents of Palm Grove be able to live independently and not be dependent on other residents or be a potential risk to themselves and/or other park residents. When Word of Life observes that a resident is in a physical or mental condition that endangers the safety of themselves or others, Word of Life will consult with the resident and the resident’s family. Word of Life reserves the right to terminate or not to renew the resident’s lease if the level of care that resident requires is beyond the minimal services available in Palm Grove.

Lots that have no grass and have been replaced by stone must be sprayed every two weeks to remove weeds that grow up through the stone. c. Seasonal owners may plant bushes, shrubs, and flowers on their site only if they are “low maintenance” varieties. Due to limited space on the carport side, we ask you to determine whether you want to have grass in that location or flowers and plants. The area is too tight for both. If you elect to have flowers and plants in that location, we suggest it be in the form of a bed that is mulched to prevent weeds.
15
d. Products such as Round Up must not be applied to any lot for the purpose of killing the grass without approval from Palm Grove management. e. Trees are a precious commodity; therefore, we discourage unnecessary removal whenever possible. All tree removal must be pre-approved by the park office and will be at the expense of the resident. f. The recommended and preferred grass in the front is Floratam type. There is only one option allowed on occasion: Arizona type stone mulch (stone size about 2” X 2” or less) if installed properly over landscape cloth. However, over time, stone lawns need attention to keep them looking nice. Pine straw is not allowed around the house because of fire hazard. Also bugs and fire ants tend to camp under it. g. Underground irrigation systems for lawns can be installed only if hooked to non- potable water supply . Irrigation of lawns with the potable water supply (city water) is not permitted under any circumstances. When your Park Model is set up, it will be connected to city water, which is metered. There is an extra water line provided to each site. This extra line draws water from a non-potable well or recycled water and is intended for your use to water your flowers, plants, and lawns. Park Models equipped with outside faucets must either be connected to the recycled or well water system. h. When watering please be sure that sprinkler water is not running down the street in excess as this can damage the pavement. All irrigation repairs are at the expense of the Lease Lot Holder and must be maintained in good working order. Additional watering restrictions may be implemented as required. Trash Disposal : Trash Dumpsters are located near the Storage Parking Lot. Do not use the dumpsters behind the Youth Camp Dining Room, or behind the Conference Center Dining Room. To keep animals out of your trash, it must not be left out overnight. No Construction Demolition, Furniture, or Mattresses can be placed in any Dumpster. You can take it to the Pasco Solid Waste and Recovery Center located at 13200 Hays Rd, Spring Hill, FL, 34669. a. You may prep your boat the day of use on your lot but should not be present overnight. b. Only tire covers that have been manufactured for that purpose will be used in the park. 4. On lots with drive- in RV’s, only one approved accessory building (shed) will be allowed. The drip edge of the shed shall be no closer than 8’ from the RV, and 3’ from the lot line.
SITE IMPROVEMENTS: CONCRETE WORK
Seasonal Residents may add a driveway, sidewalks, and/or a patio. To maintain unity within the park we have specific locations and guidelines for the pouring of concrete. Due to permit codes in Pasco County, all concrete work will be under the Direct Supervision of Palm Grove. All work to be completed must first be submitted on the RV Park Work Request Form, including a detailed drawing and measurements on the reverse side. The Request Form is available at this link: https://florida.wol.org/rv-park/ All Concrete work is calculated per square foot.
HANGING RACKS/CLOTHES LINES FOR LAUNDRY ON THE LOT
Are NOT permissible.
SCREENROOMS, ADDITIONS, AND ENCLOSURES
Screen rooms, additions, and enclosures are allowed in the park as long as they are specifically manufactured to connect to the curbside of your RV by means of grommets and snaps and are designed to utilize your awning as the roof. These units are designed and manufactured for the RV industry and are portable. Other than approved storage sheds, there will be no free-standing screen rooms, additions, or enclosures in the park unless special permission is given by the park manager.

PARK MODEL Specific
1.
Park Models must be purchased through Word of Life Florida, Inc.
2. Park Models come completely furnished with color schemes that are custom decorated by the customer. 3. Word of Life will make arrangements to set up your Park Model which is an additional fee discussed with the Palm Grove Operations Manager payable to Word of Life Florida. This set-up includes anchoring, installing the sewage and water lines, air conditioning, heat, and electric service to the meter box. Should you require a Florida room or a carport, construction time may take an additional time due to permits and contractor availability. 4. Immediately after delivery, Word of Life will make arrangements to register and license your new Park Model. Homeowner insurance is required. 5. Park Models are set back from the street in the park twenty-one feet with a few exceptions, e.g., lots which are located on a curved section of street. 6. No Park Models are to be sold or rented without prior approval from Word of Life.
ADD-ON WORK
Palm Grove management must approve all add-on work in writing. Upon request, Word of Life will provide an approved list of contractors for all work on add-on rooms, carports, and utility sheds, who are licensed to handle all county permits necessary for each of these additions. Owners must use licensed contractors that have been approved by the Park Manager. (These contractors will have proof of license on file as well as proof of insurance.) The intent is to protect your investment, and at the same time, keep the aesthetics and quality to a high standard. All extra work done by contractors is between the Park Model owner and the contractor. Payment is to be made by the owner and Word of Life assumes no responsibility for the payment. The roofline of your Park Model will determine how much covered (with roof) additional space you may add to your unit. You may add a carport and utility shed (or living space) that is the equivalent to the length of your park model on one side of your unit. The shed or living space on the carport side shall allow adequate space to park an average size car under the carport. On the other side of your park model, you may add a Florida room that is the same length of your park model. For example: If your park m odel is 34’ in length, you may add a 34’ Florida room. If your park model is 40’ in length, you may add a 40’ Florida room. There must be a minimum of 3’ of ground space from the unit to the lot line. That will allow for 6 feet between you and your neighbo r. Carports are (11’) eleven feet in width. A roof addition can extend beyond the natural roofline of the Park Model either in front or in the rear of your unit but only by the prior approval of the Word of Life Manager. These are to be no longer than 8 feet from the unit out for the front porches. No two-story structures will be allowed. LOT SIZE Most lots in Palm Grove are approximately 40’ X 70’ with some exceptions, e.g., curved streets.
18
DECK ADDITIONS AND PLATFORMS
Open decks are allowed at the rear of a park model, as well as on the front of the unit. These are to be no longer than 8 feet from the unit out for the front porches.
Any extension deck toward the street will be limited to eight feet beyond the natural line of the front of your park model. The width will be no greater than the width of the addition to which it is attached or ten feet. A set back from the rear property line of four feet is required for any construction that is considered permanent (concrete patios, decks, steps, roof covered areas, screen rooms etc.). The Palm Grove manager may grant exceptions for certain lots backed up by buffer zones or woods or tennis courts. No exemption will be granted for lots that will back up to another 40’ X 70’ lot.
CONCRETE DRIVEWAY and SIDEWALKS
All Park Models must have a concrete driveway with dimensions of 11’ – 11’ 3” wide x 65’ in length from the roadway to the back of a park model. If an owner decides to have sidewalks installed, it is recommended that this work be done at the same time as the driveway. All concrete work will be at the owner’s expense and with prior approval from the park office through the Palm Grove Work Request Form. Sidewalks or patio stones may be used to walk around the shed or alongside the driveway. These walks are not considered permanent and can be purchased by the Park Model owner at local garden supply stores and used wherever a walk is desired, except from the driveway to the front steps. This walk must be of poured concrete.
ALUMINUM SKIRTING
Park Models, add-on rooms, and decks are required to have standard aluminum skirting as used for all the other Park Models.
PEST CONTROL
Word of Life highly recommends, but does not provide, pest control measures. Owners desiring routine pest control inspections and spraying can make arrangements with one of the approved vendors listed at the back of manual. Aggressive termite protection is HIGHLY recommended. PARK MODELS COMING FROM ANOTHER PARK OR NOT PURCHASED THROUGH WORD OF LIFE Word of Life does not allow used Park Models or Park Models that are not purchased through Word of Life.
19
RESALE OF YOUR PARK MODEL OR RV
The Resale of your Park Model or RV will require permission through the Palm Grove Office. All Sales are contingent upon the New Buyers signing the Word of Life Statement of Faith and Standard of Conduct. Submission of insurance and meeting with the park manager or Authorized Staff will be required before the sale is finalized. Sellers must settle any outstanding debts including WOL lot rent, lawncare/internet, and electric. All sales of park models/RVs are between the seller and the purchaser. Word of Life is the Lease Holder of all lots in Palm Grove. The Lessor (Word of Life Florida) leases a lot for a yearly Conference Fee to the Lessee (Resident) for an amount determined by Word of Life each year. With a Lessee (Resident) having no ownership to a Word of Life lot and upon the sale of an RV or Park Model, the Lessee (Resident) cannot include as part of a sale for profit, a lot owned by Word of Life Florida. As a lease lot holder and upon the sale of a Park Model or RV, the Lessee (Resident) can include as equity of a sale items that are considered a “Removable Asset“ such as but not limited to sheds, and landscaping and must be listed as “Lot Improvements“ when advertising a Park Model or RV for sale. The addition of concrete to any Word of Life leased lot is added for the duration and enjoyment of the term of the lease by the lease lot holder and is considered a “Fixed Asset“ with no equitable value to a sal e.

CHECK LIST FOR CLOSING PARK MODELS FOR THE SUMMER SEASON • Turn off the water heater switch, either in your kitchen, or in the bathroom. Also, shut off the main breaker switch (located in your panel box) in your park model unless you plan to leave your air conditioner or refrigerator on. You do not need to drain the hot water heater. • Do not leave a window open in your shed. It will act as a mini-hurricane in the shed • You must shut off the main water valve that is located outside, between the main line and your Park Model. It is housed in a six-inch plastic PVC pipe and will have a red valve on it. • The bright summer sun will fade carpets and furniture. Be sure to close all curtains and blinds. For extra protection, you may measure your windows and purchase “Cellotex” sheets at the local lumberyard for all single pane windows. By cutting the “Cellotex” to fit each window you not only keep out the sun’s rays, but also reduce the heat buildup that normally passes through standard windows. Cardboard also will work well to keep the sun out. • Please be certain that all windows and doors are locked before you leave. • If you turn off your refrigerator, leave the doors open. • Set thermostat to between 82 and 85 Cool – this is cool enough to keep the mildew away. • Put your phone/TV/internet services on vacation. • Unplug small appliances for safety from electrical storms in the summer. • Cover all drains and toilets with Saran ™ wrap to prevent drain flies from coming up. • When checking out at the end of Season, a copy of a key to your unit must be turned in to the Palm Grove Registration Office for safety concerns. These keys are locked in a lock box, and the box is safeguarded for your protection. Make sure the keys that you give the office open all outside doors. • If you have a unit with slides, we recommend you do not leave them out due to wind or rain damage.

Communication
Palm Grove Communication: 1. Email communication (Palm Grove Community News) – genehwing@gmail.com . This is the official way we will be giving out communication concerning the park. It is very important that you sign up for these emails. 2. Facebook – “ The RV Park Group ” – when joining please fill out “why” you want to join. This is a closed community and guest are approved one by one. This is not a Word of Life regulated site. Official communication will come through Gene Wing using the Community News. 3. Palm Grove Email Alert System - The purpose of the system is to notify residents with a timely response when the loss of water, electricity or in the event of information that is specifically needed to get out ASAP during weather related storm. We ask that you do not send individual emails or phone calls to the RV Park Office when the loss of water or power occurs, allowing our team to assess the source of the problem. You will see an email to your inbox that says from FL RV Park Alerts. If you do not see this in your inbox you may need to go to your SPAM box. We will be using the current emails on file that each resident has given to the RV Park office, so if you feel you are not receiving these alerts than please email Vicky at vickys@wol.org to make sure we have the correct email address. We would ask for your patience in receiving updated information when a situation occurs while our team assesses the repair needed and provides residents the correct information. 4. Weather Related Emergency - In the event of a sudden severe storm, hurricane, or tornado watch/warning, the best source of information will be the local news channel or your cell phone alerts which gives up-to-date information on a consistent basis allowing each resident to make the necessary decisions at the time. The park office will notify in advance through the Palm Grove Alert system if the Harry Bollback Center will be open and procedures to follow if such a storm occurs. The Bollback Performing Arts Center is the designated building and is hurricane rated. The Wyrtzen Conference Center is NOT a shelter. If you bring a pet to the shelter, it must be crated at all times.
