Playing the Devil's Game

As I was addressing one demon the man looked up and said, “ Bart, the demon wants to hurt you! ” I commanded the demon, in the name of Jesus , to tell this man why he couldn’t hurt me. All of a sudden, this man’s arm, controlled by the demon, immediately pointed to the other side of the r oom, and said, “Because of him! ” I looked and I could n’t see any thing. I said, “Who?” The demon said, “There’s an angel standing there!”—I’m not making this up! Another time I was asked to do a consult with two teenage Satanists in the psych hospital where I was chaplain. Because “ beliefs determine our behavior, ” I knew there was no way to address their bad behavioral issues without addressing the beliefs behind those behaviors (Satanism). As soon as I mentioned God, the one teen’s eyes rolled up in his head, and a demon spoke through him and said, “Leave him alone ! He’s mine! You can’t have him!” I commanded the demon, “In the name of Jesus, be quiet, and go back down!” — Immediately, it did, and the eyes of both these guys got as big as saucers when they realized that what I believed in was more powerful than what they believed in. From then on they respected me and we got along great.
