LIE #10: “Satan is all - powerful.”

False! He is not even close. Think! If Satan is so “all - powerful,” why couldn’t he keep Jesus in the grave after the crucifixion? Without the resurrection, there would be no Christianity. When Jesus arose from the dead, He defeated Satan. As Christians, because of our union with Christ, we too have authority over Satan. In the Bible it says, “Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) About the only power s Satan has over Christians is fear and the power of the lie. Faith is stronger than fear, and truth is stronger than the power of the lie. In Christ we have all we need to defeat him. If Satan can implant a lie in you, especially when you’re a child, that lie will control you your entire life until dealt with. The better you know Jesus and the Bible, the easier you will spot Satan’s lies , and the less control they will have over you. In my dealing with the demonic, there are three things demons hate: the name of Jesus, the Word of God (the Bible), and the blood of Jesus.
