following one of the first school shootings in America, where a teenage Satanist shot and killed two students and wounded seven others after first killing his mother. I asked the students, “If I came to your school and told you there was this neat Satanic coven you could join; there is a lot of sex, drugs and excitement, would you like to join?” of course, some of you might say, “Ye ah, sure !” On the other hand, what if I came to your school and said, “Hey, I know this neat Satanic coven you can join. Most likely you’ll be dead within t hree to eight years, or spend a very large part of your life in prison, catch a sexually transmitted disease, become an addict and see some of your best friends get killed. Would you like to join?” So, what’s the difference? One is behavior . The other is consequences ! I said, “ Like it or not, whenever you choose a belief system, such as Satanism, and you enter into the behaviors that go along with that belief system, you also have to accept the consequences that go with it. That’s the way life works. ” — At the end of my talk I was given a standing ovation. The question I put before you is this: “W ould you rather believe a lie that makes you feel good, or would you want to know the truth, even if it was
