KWS Ltd provided a wide range of products for the project, including prefabricated brackets, pipe clamps, fixings for rooftop supports, multilayer pipe and fittings. Implementing bespoke site solutions and early engagement allowed for an efficient and compliant build. KWS Ltd used prefabrication to reduce wastage and installation time, supplying multiple products to the project. David Shanahan, Business Development Manager, says, “Early engagement avoided delays further down the line. “KWS supplied prefabricated brackets, which offered numerous advantages on site including a more efficient use of labour, allowing M&P Mechanical to concentrate on installing the brackets directly at source. “Easier to transport, the brackets were delivered directly to where required on a pallet, reducing wastage on site as
well as installation time.” Efficient logistics was another feature of the project, with KWS using its own transport fleet for prebooked just-in- time deliveries. Impressed with KWS’ efficient supply of compliant products, M&P Mechanical has since replicated its products and services on other sites. KWS has evolved into a single-source supplier for mechanical contractors.
