A high-end, 39-home development of A-rated houses, Garraí an Choill showcases Pipelife Ireland’s credentials as a one-stop shop for plumbing and heating, renewables, civils, roofline and brickwork. An example of its capability from product supply and system design to technical support, commissioning and stakeholder collaboration, the development is focused on energy-efficient living and long-term energy performance. Pipelife’s in-house design office provided detailed heat loss calculations and precise heat pump sizing, integrated with underfloor heating systems, to achieve optimal efficiency. Mechanical extract ventilation ensures healthy indoor environments, while many of Pipelife’s products are backed by environmental product declarations.
Efficiency, reliability and serviceability informed every decision in this meticulous project to design, supply and install a high-performance plumbing and heating system for 12 en-suite guest rooms. Delivering a low-carbon, low-cost solution on the rooftop terrace of a multi-use complex in Clane, Michael Conway HPS excelled in its system design and product integration. Complex
routing was required to bring heat, water and sewer connections up from street level through a disused SuperValu store to a dedicated rooftop plant room. Powered by two high- efficiency heat pumps equipped with state-of- the-art controls and system monitoring, the integrated, low-maintenance system delivers exceptional thermal comfort and rapid hot water recovery.
