An extensive range of sanitaryware was supplied to NRC Ballymena by specialist plumbing and heating merchant Beggs and Partners. Mainly comprising Armitage sanitaryware, the substantial package also included multiple products from Hyco, Pland, Bristan and laboratory-grade lines. The commission represents the latest in a series of education partnerships with NUGENT, with sanitaryware also supplied for joint projects at the new NRC Causeway campus as well as St Ronan’s, Shimna Integrated, Holy Trinity and Strangford Integrated colleges. At NRC Ballymena, Beggs and Partners was involved in the project from the technical submittal stage and worked alongside NUGENT to see it through to completion. Armitage products supplied included Sandringham back-to-wall WC pans, seats, covers and pedestal basins; Monaco close-coupled packs with rails;
Contour urinal bowls and grab rails with cover plates; and Birch cleaner sinks & bucket grating. Also among the hundreds of lines supplied were shower trays, seats, traps, heads and valves, auto cisterns and specialist equipment such as fireclay laboratory sinks.
