It means th a t the Son of God, who is th e Most High, overshadowed th e Virgin, uniting Him self w ith th e m iraculously prepared hum an natu re. He is designated in His Being “ th a t holy th ing ” because He cannot be classified. And because He is holy th ere could be nothing in Him, who was born of the Virgin, which is unholy.
