Is, then, the old n atu re completely eradicated when the new n atu re enters? K n o w y e n o t,’ th a t ' to w h om y e y ie ld y o u rse lv e s s e rv a n ts to obey, h is s e rv a n ts y e a r e to w h om y e o b ey ; w h e th e r o f sin u n to d e a th , o r o f o b ed ien ce u n to rig h te o u s n e ss? ” If a person professes to be saved, yet finds his pleasure in the things of ¿he world, the flesh and th e devil, of what is it an evidence? (The word “ comm it” here means “ to hab itu ally practice” .) (1 Jn. 3:9) “W h o so e v e r Is b o rn o f G od d o es n o t co m m it sin ; fo r h is seed re m a in e th in h im : . a n d h e c a n n o t sin , b e c a u se h e is b o rn of God.” Can a tru ly born-again person find real pleasure in sin?
