All the people rejoiced for all the glorious things th a t were done by Him. Let us all say this beautiful verse together. This is such a wonderful story, to help u s. to learn to he thank fu l for the many blessings we have, and to be happy for all th a t DR. HOLDEN’S TESTIMONY We were glad to get the following testimony to Christ’s second coming, from Dr. S tu art Holden, as tak en from a published sermon. “Now let me say a t the outset th a t the g reat tru th of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and th e adherence of H is people to it, as to every other ex pression of tru th they find in His word, is not some optional addendum to the gospel of th e ir salvation, but a vital and integral p a rt of it. You may not say: ‘I am a Christian man, I believe in the Word of God, and yet I do not be lieve in the coming again of Jesus Christ,’ for th a t is merely to s a y :'‘I do not believe in th e plain, simple and re peatedly emphasized statem ents of the divine W ord.’ “ It is simply impossible to read the New Testament w ithout prejudice w ith out coming to the conclusion and w ith out being gripped by the conviction th a t th e evidence for the second coming of Christ is equally strong w ith th e evi dence for His first coming. It may be, my brother m inister, it may be, Sabbath school teacher, it may be, Christian worker, obscure and anonymous, th a t you may have the great and holy privilege of bringing in th a t last God-marked soul which shall complete the body of Christ and bring Him h ere !” m . as as THINK ABOUT THIS There is a lot more fight in th e hymns some Christians sing, than in the lives they lead afte r th e singing is over.
