The one that has stood out since the very beginning. Alpha 506N em- bodies what we are trying to produce here. Pounds in a package that excels in added thickness, depth of body without excessive frame in an easy fleshing package. On top of that, he stands down on a correct made, jet black hoof & is covered in a dark cherry red coat with good northern hair. Additionally he displays tremendous breed caracter with a good angus skull and muzzle, big testicles with added masculinity. Maternally he comes from the great Sandy cow family, Dahlke Ms San- dy 79G who combines SAV Raindance and Red Crowfoot Moonshine. 79G has a phenomenal phenotype, displaying a near perfect udder, is correct in her lines and angles, with proven fertility. We have retained all 3 daughters that she has produced so far as we look to inject her influence into our herd. Alpha 506N is a bull we plan to hitch our wag- on to & use back in our program. Look for Alpha to replace the great Rockefeller 009H bull.

Rockefeller 009H has been a staple sire for us in terms of siring heavy muscled, good footed, dark red sons. 553N is no exception to those traits, adding the massive middle and added frame that comes from his 12 year old donor dam, Dahlke Ms Siera 250B. We retained a ful sister last year that stood at the very top of the replacment heifer pen. If you’re looking for a bull with some added octane yet will produce high value females as well, look him up. A maternal brother was our lot 1 bull in 2024 selling to Raile Red Angus in SD.

Play Time 513N leads off a big group of heavy muscled, wide based sons of the $65,000 Canadian phenom, Red U2Q Playboy 2197K. This guy has a little more stretch than some of his sire mates but yet doesn’t sacrifice any depth or thickness, pushing down the scale at every checkpoint. His dam, Ms Hilton 10F, produced the lot 2 bull last year selling to Yaunick Farms for $10,000. She also produced the great Dahlke Uffda 035H sire selling to Jacobson/Rivers Edge Red Angus back in 2021 for $8,500. She is a direct daughter of our most influential donor, 263C and a flushmate to Ms Hilton 13F, the dam of Rockefeller 009H. Look for Playtime to sire some scale crushing feeder cattle that can also excel on the rail.

The heifer safe option of the Playboy sire group and quite possibly the very best of all the heifer safe bulls in the sale. Jock 517N blends a 19 CED with a 78 pound birthweight, good head and smooth shoulders indicating his heifer project capabilities. Unlike a lot of heifer bulls, Jock will add extra muscle to their rear quarter along with added over- all base width. The dam, 230K, is an own daughter of the beautiful Raindance sired 82G donor. Ms Hilton 230K is a young favorite around here, displaying superior udder qual- ity, excellent docility, added fleshing ability from a consistent cow family. 230K joined our flush group this spring as we hope to add more females from this 4th generation donor. Expect easy calving progeny without giving up too much performance while producing world class females. Top of my list for purebred leaders looking for a female making heifer bull.

Rugged, loose hided, soggy with added mass & muscle are what come to mind when I think about this Playboy son. Standing down on a good, well structured black foot, 510N can get out and travel along with having a great disposition. His young dam has shown great fertility so far, coming from the great Rust Siera 412B cow family. Put a group of these Playboy sons together with a big group of cows and you wont regret it when you’re calves roll through the ring in the fall. Extra muscle, extra pounds and extra $$$ on your calf check.

This feels repetitive but heres another thick made, heavy msucled son of Playboy 2197K. This sire group adds pounds without the added frame size, assuring the females will be reason- ably sized, in an economical package. All these Playboy sired bulls are wide chested and good skulled, displaying great breed character. Playboy 525N may very well be the widest based bull in this sire group. Dam is a beautiful wedge shaped Foreman daughter.

Introducing the first progeny from Dahlke Rancher 214K, the $24,000 sale topper to ST Genetics in 2023. You will appreciate their consistency in type and kind, displaying added length from pole to tailhead, larger frame, with great feet & a light birthweight. Leading out this sire group, is Ranchin’ 552N, a grandson of the great Ms Hilton 10F cow. Extended through his front 1/3 with added bone size, I expect him to be at the top of the radar for those looking for a heifer bull without giving up to much payweight. His dam, 308L, raised him on her first try and she would have been my pick of the replacment heifer pen last year. 552N combines two great proven cows in 23F & 10F.

One of the largest frame bulls in the sale that has added length & weight. Ranch Life 569N started out a modest 74 pounds but blew the doors off to weaning at 793 and 1393 at a year. Pretty impressive for a pedigree with 2 sure fire calving ease bulls in Rancher 214K and Outcome 016H. Maternally he goes back to some great Rosie females including the great 230J and 214Z, the donor that produced our high selling bull in 2024 for $16,000 to Russ & Austin Klaphake. The Rosie cow family is known for great feet with great milking ability. These Rancher sired progeny will be the feeding type as they have the added length and frame to hang a large carcass along with excellent carcass qualities. Look for consistent calving ease from this big footed prospect that has the commercial cattlemen’s needs at the top of the list.

Well this guy throws a wrench into that as we purchased this pregnancy after we laid eyes on the great 142B cow a couple winters ago. 142B looks to be doing great things for Lucas Cutler in Britton, SD shown in his sale offering this year. She appears to be a great footed cow with tremendous teat and udder quality with a proud and elegant front 1/3. Lot 16’s sire needs no introduction as Pie Quarterback has been lighting up sale reports for years now as a proven calving ease sire from the great Pie Ruby 520 cow. 568N may be “Something Different” but I’d expect him to maintain the same qualities that our customers has come to expect. Use 568N to inject the great 142B cow into your herd’s genetics.

One of the most powerful Outcome 016H sons I’ve seen. 556N hits you hard from a growth and power standpoint, exemplified by his 788 pound weaning weight and 1376 yearling weight. Everybody who has been through the pens so far has found this dude and have been blown away by his puppy dog disposition. No need to run this one through the chute prior to sale day to get cleaned up as he’ll just stand and take a comb standing out in the lot. His donor dam is none other than our all time high income produc- ing cow, Dahlke Ms Hilton 263C. 263C is a pure power type cow which really shines through on 556N. These Outcome 016H prog- eny have really made a lot of friends around the world and its easy to see why when you find progeny like these two flushmates.

The more calving ease brother of the flush comes 533N. Dark red, long hipped with a good foot, this embryo transfer bull has a great phenotype and will be an easy one to find on sale day. Another Outcome sired bull with a great dispo- sition that is just flat fun to show off to visitors. The flushmate sisters in our replacment pen share many of the same qualities of these two flush brothers, adding to their consistency and predictability. Although 533N has a 83 pound birthweight and EPDs that would indicate he may not be a sure shot heifer safe bull, I would not hesitate to put this on heifers as he has the design and look of a heifer bull without sacrific- ing too much growth.

The red carrier son from Ellingson Elite 2123 that we would like to sample back into our herd as we look to inject one of the angus breeds best cows, EA Bells Girl 7617, back into our red cow herd. A true ground shaker from an early age, 590N has been on our radar as we hoped he would come back with the red gene. He combines Elite 2123 with Cowboy Up 5405 in a verified red gene package out of the really good 20F cow that entered our donor lineup last spring as she has put numerous front end black bulls in our sale year after year. Visually, 590N will blow you away with his width of chest and base width, natural muscle down through his twist and across the top of his loin. At the ground youll find that this bull stands on a perfect designed foot that we have come to expect from the 2123 progeny. The top weaning and yearling weight of the sale coming in at 857 and 1494 respectively, in a skeletal design that isnt extreme in frame size. Just ripped muscle with that good angus head and northern hair coat. A bull that will be found by everybody on sale day.

Back into another pair of Outcomes in a black-red gene carrier. 516N reminds us so much of his sire when it comes to that flashy profile. Great rear quarter, long spined with the extended front 1/3 we all stive to produce. If this dude had came out red, he’d be in the running for lead off calving ease sire. Unbelievable numerically but hes so much more than that. His dam is proving her value at an early age as she raised the top selling black red carrier last year going to a great outfit in Iowa. This year she was the second cow to calf displaying great fertility and udder quality. She has that great wedge shape to her with an itty bity angus head. 516N will be a friend of many on March 22nd as he has such a friendly disposition. Purebred breeders looking to add a great calving ease bull regardless of color should take note.

This duo set themselves apart with their added muscle, wide stance and overall softness. They display ideal foot and leg structure along with the flexibility that’s required to last as a breeding bull. We just calved out 5 full sisters, with all of them breeding A.I on their natural heat and calving unassisted while setting down a good snug udder. Based off of the donor dam and the 5 full sisters, I expect these two brothers to produce added payweight along with productive daughters.

Ranger 543N starts out a new sire group for us here in Ellingson Hi Range, the $160,000 high selling bull in 2022. We used Hi Range for his maternal capabilities while maintain- ing calving ease and longevity. 543N looks to be a sure fire heifer safe sire, displaying the type of head, shoulder and bone struc- ture we look for when identifying calving ease prospects. We purchased his dam as the lead off female on the Flying W sale back in 2024 and she did a whale of a job on her first try. Another set of flush brothers, this time produced from a package of embryos we purchased from Coleman Angus. Sired by the calving ease sire, Crackerjack out of the great 2321 Everelda Entense donor. We were looking to tie into genetics from the great female making sire, Basin Rainmaker 654X, a 1988 born sire whose semen has com- manded as high as $4,000 per straw. We also have a pair of heifers from this flush in our replacement heifer pen that we are excited about. Tie into these timeless genetics for a proven sire without any uninteded consequenses.

The lone Baldridge Badger son in the sale but boy is he a stout one. Quite possibly the widest topped bull in the angus pen, dis- playing great natural thickness and muscle expression. Another black bull with a great disposition that is easy to be around. Great foot genes out of a cow that has shown great fertility thusfar in her early life. These Badger sons have made lots of friends around the country this year and you’ll see why when you lay eyes on this hog.

Here’s a pair of Ellingson Elite 2123 sons raised by a couple first calf heifers we sourced from Flying W ranch. Elite 2123 does such a great job of adding pounds in a moderate frame but as wide and deep as you can make one. They all have good heads with smooth shoulders, allowing them to be calved on heifers even with some added weight. Great dispositions on these two lots with top notch feet, structurally sound with added fleshing ability. Check out the weaning weights of 814 & 845 on these two. Look for scale smashing feeder calves here.

10 Commercial red angus heifer pairs These 10 heifers come from the Truman family located just east of Bagley, MN. The heifers were sourced last March from longtime breeders,Curt & Tammy Frenzel from Blackduck, MN. They are all red angus sired with some being purebreds but they will all sell as commercials. On May 31st, 2025 they were A.I bred to the Semex Beef stud, Dahlke Outcome 016H. They were not exposed to a bull for 45 days after AI service. (bull wasn’ turned out until July 16th, 2025) so the calf will be guaranteed to be sired by Outcome 016H. The heifers are due to calve March 5th, 2026 and will have calves at their side on sale day. These heifer/pairs will be lotted individual- ly and the buyer will be able to pick as many as they want starting with lot 41 going in order down to 50. Every heifer was bangs vaccinated last spring and vaccinated with ultrbac 8 and virashield 6vl5 along with a booster this past fall with two rounds of Clean up 2. Every newborn calf will have trishield, naselgen 3, vision 8 & 1cc vitamin AE&D. This winter the heifers have had access to mineral from north central feeds along with free choice hay. 10 Commercial angus bred heifers For the first time we are offering 10 commercial angus bred heifers. Most of these heifers are purebreds but will sell without papers as commercials. This group of heifers were either born right here on our ranch or sourced from Flying W ranch in Pequot Lakes, MN. They were exposed to SR South Big Country 433 (Reg#21006039), our new angus sire from Spickler Ranch South in Glenfield, ND, starting on July 6th, 2025. Their calving due dates will begin starting April 11th, 2026. These heifers will be lotted individually and the buyer will be able to pick as many as they want starting with lot 51 going in order down to 60. These heifers are ran right alongside the rest of our heifers and have had the same vaccinations as our entire cow herd.
