Ranger 543N starts out a new sire group for us here in Ellingson Hi Range, the $160,000 high selling bull in 2022. We used Hi Range for his maternal capabilities while maintain- ing calving ease and longevity. 543N looks to be a sure fire heifer safe sire, displaying the type of head, shoulder and bone struc- ture we look for when identifying calving ease prospects. We purchased his dam as the lead off female on the Flying W sale back in 2024 and she did a whale of a job on her first try.
