Weber Charolais & Red Angus - Annual Charolais & Red Angus Bull & Female Sale [3/16/26]

Dear Friends, We at the Weber Ranch invite you our 37th annual production sale. It is a great celebration for us to gather with family, neighbors, friends, previous customers, and potentially new customers. We give thanks to the crew that brings everything together on this day. Our sale order will start off the registered charolais yearlings, then followed by the 2 year olds with the buckskins being sprinkled in the order of the sale. We will sell the charolais yearling heifers right after the 2’s are done. Our red angus yearlings will begin the red division followed by the 2 year old red angus, and the yearling red angus heifers to finish off the sale. The veterinarian work for our herd is consulted through Sweetgrass Veterinary Clinic in Dimock by Eric Holum, D.V.M. and Northwest Veterinary Clinic in Wagner and Parkston by Chris Freidel, D.V.M. We greatly appreciate the professionalism and cooperation these 2 clinics provide to make our herd healthy. We are in a time-period of historic feeder cattle prices. The volatility of this market seems to be stable in an upward climb and maximum profits reached. We are in our highest demand for American beef, and for once, the producer is in the driver’s seat. For us as seedstock producers, we must continue to strive for excellence in creating an animal that will go out and perform to its fullest potential and becoming the cheapest investment for you because of the efficiency from what you bought from us. We are proud of what we have to offer in this sale and firmly believe your purchase will be a great investment for the future of your operation. We have an extensive and aggressive standard we hold ourselves accountable for with the brand of feed our cattle represent. J & R Feeds commitment to exceed nutritional values and balance a safe, nutritional diet to give every individual an opportunity to maximize potential. We will have a supplement sheet on sale day with the yearling ultrasound scan data, 2 year old live weight, and 2 year old scrotal measurements. The 2 year old bulls have not been pampered in any way, they ran on grass for a few months last summer and have been brought along on a light roughage, high fiber diet. Some of the yearling bulls have been supplemented with J & R Feeds 14% B60 creep. The creep formulation has ABSOLUTELY NO corn or by-products such as distillers grain or any type of sceenings. It is a designed high fiber creep with no starch. Without these unnecessary ingredients, it makes it the safest creep in the country to feed. We feel that the breeds representing our sale today are a prime example of complementary heterosis. Our demand in the beef industry is to raise cattle that can get the red meat to the plate as fast as we can. We feel confidently that our genetics are well capable of doing that with our selection of advancing sires and predictability with proven sires. Our commitment has been strong for many years in the cutability and quality of meat our bulls can produce with 36 years of ultrasound data collecting. We would like to thank Courtney Gebes from Cattle Business Weekly for her patience and time she takes helping put this catalog together. We are a family operation and we appreciate the time we spend with the people who attend our sale. We take pride in our offering of this production sale and feel we have brought you our best opportunity of genetics to maximize your profits. We would like to thank Jeremy Wermers for continued cooperative herd work with us. Jeremy is a big part of helping provide the customer an elite product. Our thankfulness for the opportunity to provide this service is greatly appreciated.
